Typically, no.  In the case of all Creepy Hollows offerings they cannot be destroyed or altered by water, sand, mud, salt, or any other mineral or compound.  However, it is always best to err on the side of safety and ask this question to your practitioner of choice.  Unless the practitioner tells you something specifically about your binding there is no substance that you are going to expose your vessel to that is going to harm, destroy, or otherwise mar the spirit or spell within.
