Gadsden Hotel

Why did we rate this "Confirmed"? Because multiple sources off the internet sites have experienced paranormal activity at this location & therefore warrants a rating of "Confirmed".

What's the tale? The ghost of Pancho Villa haunts the Gadsden Hotel. He is seen wearing military garb riding his horse up and down the marble staircase. His presence was not disturbed when the hotel burnt down in 1929 or its being remodeled in 1988.

What do we know as fact? Newspaper accounts do show the marble staircase survived the fire in 1929, therefore if Pancho Villa were to haunt the hotel it is likely since he rode his horse up the marble staircase there could be paranormal activity associated with the staircase. The hotel opened its doors before Arizona was a state and has hosted a bevy of historical & famous guests including Eleanor Roosevelt.

Thoughts: There's no doubt there is paranormal activity in the hotel. Numerous travelers and occupants of the Gadsden Hotel have reported paranormal activity on multiple occasions and as haunted likely has more than just Villa to thank for its haunted history.
