Hare Krishna


Founded in 1966 by Swami Srila Prabhupada it is a religion that is under the direction of those who have reached guru status. They practice Hindu in alignment with their Hare Krishna directives based on the Vedic scriptures and Caitanya. They are practicing vegans, minimalists, who practice bhakti and sankirtana, and believe their body is Krishan's temple. They do not believe in consuming socially acceptable drugs like caffeine, or tobacco. They believe in cleanliness is next to godliness and have some socially strange prohibitions in acts of cleanliness. They have sex only when married & only to procreate, not for recreation.
