Atheism
From Greek roots meaning "not god". Originally, Atheists were Christians as viewed by Grecians who have a polytheistic belief system. The present movement of Atheists, ironically, is applied by those who believe in any God to those who believe in no God or spiritual hierarchy. Atheists typically do not believe in any higher power being that governs or controls human life, and do not believe in Heaven, Hell, or any form of afterlife.
