I have always greatly enjoyed this hillside cemetery as it is the only cemetery to date where I have witnessed physical manifestations of spirits. It is always thorougly enjoyable and I take away a sense of education, friendship and spiritual connectiveness.
The cemetery seems to go on for miles and miles with its winding roads and gravesite set atop hills and around ponds. It lends a sense of literally centuries of lives lived and gone... the roller coaster of emotions and energies within this cemetery is stifling. |

At the base of this tree I saw a young man sitting and writing in a journal. I could see him as clear as day. He has an open white, cotton shirt and brown, cotton trousers on. He was scribbling away and I thought he looked a bit unkempt but I was momentarily distracted by the absence of my husband. When I turned back the man was gone and I searched for him as with just a moment to move he couldn't have gone more than a few feet but he had simply vanished. |
| Surrounding this tombstone I felt a very warm and inviting presence. It was like walking to a warm blanket and being wrapped in its velvety arms. I felt secure and comforted by the presence though I could not see anything visually. |

It was at this beautiful, ornate tombstone I saw the faint outline of a young woman standing. She was looking up towards the statue, she stood very still and it wasn't until I came within 50 feet of her she started to disappear. She didn't seem disturbed by my approach and I waited a good hour to see if she would come back but she didn't. I returned the next day to see if she would return at the same time and I have not seen her since. |
| It was at this site in the cemetery I distinctly heard the sound of bagpipes playing Amazing Grace. It wasn't a faint or distant sound, it was as though a funeral were being held just yards from where I was standing. I looked in a 360 degree view of where I was and there wasn't another person in sight. When I left for the day I asked the caretaker if he heard the music and he told me there weren't any funerals scheduled for the entire day. |

These are the graves of a Father, Mother and Son. They are so marked on the top of the tombstones. I clearly heard the sound of laughter and the sound of the father mimicking a train... I supposed to the son. It was odd and slightly unsettling at first to hear the horseplay between a family so close but their love and affectino for one another brought tears to my eyes. |
| On the low wall of this obelisk sat a man and woman sharing an apple. I stumbled on them as I was coming around from the corner on the right of the obelisk and when I jumped, startled to see them, they looked startled and vanished. It was the only time I seemed to interact with spirits at the cemetery... usually they are oblivious to what transpires around them. |

This tree is my favorite in the cemetery as it lends a feeling of sweet relaxation and calm. When you sit at its base you can feel the energies of peace sweeping over you and it has a very positive, cleansing effect for the spirit. It is a physical place I can go to experience pure connectiveness to the spiritual realm and the meditations I have held under this tree have yielded the most amazing results. |
| Without fail I hear the sound of tapping when I am near this mausoleum. It isn't a frenzied tap as though someone feels threatened or trapped but rather a steady tap as though someone is keeping time to music with their foot. It is very strange and no matter where I stand around the mausoleum the tapping is regular and unwaivering. |

I affectionately call the spirit I have seen here the Corpse Bride. She doesn't look to be grotesque but considering I know she is dead it seemed fitting. She has appeared twice at this canopy in a bridal gown I place at the turn of the century. Her dress, veil and bouquet are very plain but tasteful and beautiful. |
| The energies surrounding this plot of land in the cemetery are brilliantly alive. You can hear the energy as a buzzing sound in your ears when you stand about five feet from these front tombstones. It isn't a threatening energy, it is experiencing someone reaching out to you. I have held several meditations at this location and have identified three separate spirits who wanted to make contact and none of them are the ones buried here! Two are family members and one is a friend of a person buried 15 feet away. |

I saw two children, around ten or eleven years old, chasing each other through this part of the cemetery. I was disturbed by their horseplay and was about to remark they'd better respect the dead when I realized they were gone. I walked briskly towards where they had been and there wasn't anyone, not a soul, there. |
| This beautiful statue is as cold as ice no matter the weather. It can be 90 degrees on a hot summer day and though the other tombstones are slightly warmed by the unavoidable sun this statue's temperature does not waiver. I don't sense any brooding or negative energies near her but I find it interesting she is always ice old. |
