Photography from Beyond...
We went to see this charming haunt of Dr. John Minot and Ralph Waldo Emerson. This photograph was taken near the home where we felt a presence. You can read more about this haunt in the Massachusetts section of Haunted Places by State. I didn't see what I believe is some kind of mist on the right hand side of the photograph until after we were home. In fact it was more prevelant on the printed copy than the digital on the computer monitor.
We went to see the beautiful haunt of Tenant's Harbor, Maine. This photograph was taken by shrubbery near the inn where I felt an immediate drop in temperature. You can read more about this haunt in the Maine section of Haunted Places by State. There seems to be two orb-like presences in the photo. One on the upper left and the other at the bottom left.
This photograph was taken in the kitchen of a haunted home. The owner has asked me not to name her home as she does not want unwelcome sightseers. This was taken in the kitchen. The original pantry was larger and had an old, heavy door. They remodeled the entire home and when they downsized the original pantry with drywall and replaced the door they started to hear someone banging from the inside of the pantry all through the night. They mentioned the oddity to neighbors who told them their home was known to be haunted. In the early 1900s the matron of the household would lock unruly servants in the pantry - sometimes for days. An older man who served as the home's butler broke a family heirloom by accident and the lady of the house locked him in the pantry where he suffered a heartattack (most likely from the heat) and died. Ever since they altered the space they heard banging on the door. The owner was nearly knocked from her feet when she saw this face in the door. If you look closely you will see the profile of a misshapen head, an eye socket and an open mouth. She says the outline was not there when the door was installed. We saw the outline for ourselves and was able to photograph it. Presently her pantry has no door.
