The Eugene Saturday Market was the first Farmers Market in the Nation to include "handicrafts" alongside the Farmers Market in 1972. Since then, an artist community has grown up in and around the Eugene Saturday Market. Having been selling there for 10 years I always keep an eye out for new and amazing new artists on the scene. The Holiday Market is an off-shoot and only allows artist that sell at the Market during the year. Here are a few images of two newer artists whose work I have been drooling over since coming in the know of there work. I like to support other artists at the Market. I find their work simply AMAZING!

My new Hand-blown glass rainbow dragon.This is the work of a team of brothers who over the last six year have created amazing pieces. He was somewhat expensive $60. I wanted a dragon that could represent all my boys and girls.The pic's DO NOT do him justice. I got him today.




This girls work I have wanted since the first time I saw her 3 years ago. She does very whimsical stuff. Again the pic'sjust DO NOT do her work justice. I still have the plastic on them because I just bought them a few days ago.

seer thanks so much for sharing such awesome art crafts with us. the glass dragon proudly can be any of our dragon friends and the colors used and intertwined works extremely well. the pictures are my favorites though! the majestic koi seeming to possess the wisdom of the ages and the frog (i have always loved tree frogs since i was very young) sitting and watching as if contemplating life's issues. the colors in the pictures again work well and complement the other. lovely pieces and i thank you for sharing them with us all! :grouphug:
