Hi! :
Ok, Hammer had a vamp on the Marketplace from "The Order of the Dragon Clan" who had been needling me ever since he first put him up MONTHS ago. I was resisting for various reasons, one being that at the time I really didn't want another vampire (I already had two) and I knew it would make one of my sangs a little irritated because he kept going on about how "I only had so much blood". I finally pointed out that Ya-san only drank the blood of the dead so my veins were safe and it would be nice to have another protector. I won.
Anyway, I received Ya-san's vessel and he already helped me out with keeping my head calm and serene while in a meeting with the higher ups about what's going on with my boss (>.<) and I can sense some of his touches in my Astral space.
Anyway, what REALLY caught my attention was when I was looking at my chest of drawers and the katana set that I have on display (katana, kodachi and wakizashi). Now, my parents gave me that set for Christmas six or seven years ago, and I love it. The hilt and saya (sheath) are all carved to look like a dragon with a few other pictures carved in there.
Below is a picture of my wakizashi, followed by a picture of the hilt's dragon head with Ya-san's vessel below it. Coincidence? Or not? YOU DECIDE!!!
Creepy coincidence between my Vamp from Hammer and my katana

Beautiful katana & vessel. Maybe he'll like the vessel to be near the set. =)

What a lovely piece. Have you had any experiences with your new vampire yet?
I have been looking at these too for a while, it would be interesting to hear more

Nothing major, he helped me keep a calm head during a meeting with the higher ups here and he's making his presence known in my Astral space. He's very quiet, more focused on protection, I feel, though I've been yammering at him. I think he's amused by my attempts at fangirl Japanese (anime geek) but I know he likes my katanas.Zyrsa wrote:What a lovely piece. Have you had any experiences with your new vampire yet?

Other than that, not really. I love him very much, though, he's like . . . my second oldest brother in terms of protective feel (unbound Peluda is like BIG BAD BROTHER RAWR) and general sense.

True, I don't believe in coincidences, either. It still just stuns me that I've had these swords for a good six or seven years, and then boom, here's this guy. Very, very cool. Thank you!
