Hi, I'm new here ::noob:: and just starting on my journey, and I've done some research, but I'm stuck about what spirit to choose as my first. I've allways loved dragons, but aren't they very difficult to work with for a beginner? Any suggestions.

PS: I'm only 13 so their are probably some things I can't do.

Hello ^^.
The best thing to do is to go with what ever first calls out to you.
Wither it be a dragon or anything. My first spirit most would say it would be to strong for a beginner. I regret nothing though, and really have learned a lot from the experience.
So go with your instincts wither it be a dragon or something lighter like an angel.

At your age I would suggest WA spirits only until you get a real feel for spirit keeping. I would also suggest getting protection spirits first. Welcome to the forum.

i don't see anything wrong with getting a dragon,depending on the dragon you choose.
i think a silver dragon would be a great companion for a teen.very positive uplifting energy i find. which type of dragon were you interested in.

Young people are more sensitive to energy than older people, so I agree with sticking to WA (White Arts, either incapable or extremely disinclined to act in an evil fashion) for a while, till you get through your wild teen years. (no disrespect meant, just my opinion, observation and recommendation.)

A Unicorn or Sterling Angel might be a good match, but if you feel drawn to one, you should do perfectly fine with a WA Dragon. Here's the encyclopedia link to them so you can browse through their species and capabilities, and see if any resonate with you. http://encyclopedia.creepyhollows.com/a ... agons.html I'd avoid black dragons, and hybrids with black in them for now. There are also some Asian dragons that are DA (Dark Arts, capable of choosing between good and evil like us humans can) but also others that are WA. It usually says where they are on the spectrum in their encyclopedia or store listings.

I agree with the Dragon choice as well--as long as it's not Black; that'd be a bit much for a beginner, I think. But I started with DA, so there are some Keepers who are just destined to be DA keepers regardless of experience. :D
