Yes, my camera drains unusually fast, as well.
Spirits seem to have that effect on electronic equipment.
How fast they drain has a lot to do with residual energy and how the air around the "haunted" location is charged.
If I'm lucky, I get about 20 usuable shots at most.
I've heard of people keeping batteries in their freezer to keep them from draining as fast.
Though I haven't tried it yet.
I ask the archangels to recharge mine until they can't be used anymore.  :D

Brightest Blessings!

Coldness drains batteries =p If you want to cleanse any average object of spiritual energy by the way... leaving it out in the cold is one good way to do it.

Forgot to mention. It is usually below a certain temperature that it affects batteries. In my case it is very cold outside so yes it will drain it (especially car batteries). Lithiums do better in cold weather though.. as it is more the extremer cold weathers that affect batteries. I'm not talking Antarctica here, but just comparing mild to actual cold weather.

Sometimes during the bonding process with a new spirit I have placed a new battery with their vessel. The reason for this is that I feel like the spirit is trying to bond with me to fast and I can feel the drain on my energy. So I would place a battery with the vessel temporarily to reduce the drain on my energy. It works good.

I find when I put my nook anywhere near their vessels it is completely dead even after fully charging. I wised up to it and put it on the floor between the bed and nightstand and now I dont have that issue anymore

It might be worthwhile researching how batteries actually work to produce energy...

For my channelings I use a dictaphone and I have to change the batteries very often!
Apart from that I will always get a flickering of the electric bulbs when I walk underneath them or even make them burst. Happens quite often.
Yes I can say, that "we" are very electric!! ;)
