I, too, have a poster of this hanging on my wall. These wise words have guided me for some time now. Thanks for sharing this as a reminder that we are not the "owners" of the Earth, but are her brothers and sisters. What we do to her, we do to ourselves.

My "Guide" has allowed me a glimpse into one of my past lives...I was a 'wise woman', of the tribe. I think this is why I have such an infinity for all things Native American. Even my RV and house are decorated, with Native sand art, baskets. etc.
Their beliefs are what we ALL should be.
This planet is not terra firma. It is a delicate flower and it must be cared for. It's lonely. It's small. It's isolated, and there is no resupply. And we are mistreating it. Clearly, the highest loyalty we should have is not to our own country or our own religion or our hometown or even to ourselves. It should be to, number two, the family of man, and number one, the planet at large. This is our home, and this is all we've got.
