Hello All,
I thought I would share an experience I had today. I tend to be a sci-fi tv and movie fan. I was watching this TV show called Fringe a few years ago. Any-who, they had an isolation tank in the show. It is a huge tank with about a foot of body temperature water. I am a 350 lb guy and I fit easily. It has about 850 lbs of epson salt dissolved in it. Basically you get in, close the door and float in nothingness, no light, no sound, no nada (ie sensory deprivation in a tank!). The place I went to is in bethesda MD. It was called "hope floats". I think as an experience for 70$ an hour , it was worth trying at least once. Plus first timers get to go twice for the price of one! After I graduate and have more cash flow I will want to do it again :frustrated: .

I thought it would be a little scary :daze: :fingercross:  . I can now say it was not. It was actually really cool!!! I felt a few tingles from my sprits but not as much as I hoped for (maybe thats because of all the salt and water together?). I think they like interacting with me in an area they are familiar with, but thats just my cup of tea. Hell Im just glad they interact with me period!!

I hope this will get some speculation going!!!! Let me know if anyone has done something similar.

Thanks all,

I love the isolation tanks. Have you ever tried to meditate but been interrupted with sounds, smells, feelings, etc.... in the isolation tank, its just you and your thoughts, and meditations in there can be super intense.

Remember, no expectations.
