Issues with creating Helpdesk tickets

If you have any issue with being able to open a ticket through Helpdesk, please let us know, in detail, the issue you are having.

Please let us know:

- the URL of where you are trying to post the ticket
- which browser you are using & if you are on a computer or tablet
- exactly what is happening when you try to use it
- any screen shots of the problem would be very beneficial

I used the helpdesk this morning and didn't have any problem!!! :thumbup:

I am using google chrome for my browser and haven't had any problems with it!!!

My problem has happened on both my phone and computer. I go to the shop and have clicked on both of the "Open Ticket" options and it will go to a "404 Not Found" page every time. On my phone, I use Safari. On my computer, I use Google Chrome.

I use Google Chrome, on a Mac. Just tried to access Helpdesk through the two "Open a ticket" links on the right of the Shop page:

& the page that shows up is a 404 Not Found.

Those links often don't work on my end. To get around the problem I've had to jump through a hoop or two...go to the "About Our Site" section & click on the Helpdesk link there - that one works at least. If this inconvenience could be fixed though it would be ab fab!

Oh yes...& the links in my email to respond to a Helpdesk reply often direct to a 404 Not Found page too.

If I go to the shop and get the error message when I try to open a ticket, I just click something else, like a binding or take a look at the freebies and then try the helpdesk. Works for me.

I click on what I'm supposed to and it goes to page not found--I use safari..... :skull: (I have another ticket in at this time) My old ticket was totally deleted....... :skull:


I've found that evil usually triumphs unless good is VERY, VERY careful.......:skull:

Hi Mags, I don't have a current problem with the help desk tickets but I was having a problem with the tickets on Aug 1, I submitted a ticket in reference to changing an order I had placed, ticket # 8BF5F-D4652 and the ticket never showed up. I was using firefox on a regular computer at approx 6pm est on Aug 1 to submit the ticket. I did receive an email confirmation on the help desk ticket (this is from the email I copied: Ticketid: 8BF5F-D4652

Status: Open

I had another ticket opened on another issue that Lyn was helping me with and I asked her about that ticket, she didn't see it anywhere, my problem was resolved by Lyn. So I hope this information helps you.

This was probably due to the server re-size. That happened between 16:15-20:00 on Friday, August 1st. Most likely the ticket was eaten during the resize.

When I saw this thread, I headed over to the shop to attempt to open a HD ticket. I clicked the "Open a Ticket" link and was directed to this URL: http://shop.creepyhollows.com/support/tickets/contact/

I was able to open the entry form for a HD ticket with no error. I have got the most current version of Chrome (as I have my browsers update themselves automatically).

Edit to add: this was with Windows 7 on my laptop.

Safari totally does not work with the helpdesk system. I tried it, had the same problem, tried another browser, and it worked. I finally gave up in frustration and uninstalled Safari from my computer.
I know it is a Mac software, but it just did not work for me. Maybe it was just me, or maybe a software glitch. Hopefully, Magnolia and Ash will figure it out.
