I was extremely saddened by that story as well.. Last night I prayed for his spirit and for the well being of his cubs, that perhaps one may be spared by some stroke of good fortune.. I wish the best for the pride but also for his legacy to live on.

Update: There's apparently good news and bad news.
The bad news is the zimbabwe conservation task has claimed that cecils brother Jericho has also been shot dead.
However, the good news is the ranger monitoring the lions has said that Jericho is still very much alive. Even better news is that he is thought to be protecting cecils cubs. :thumbup: :thumbup:

I'm praying that Jericho is alive and well. And if there's any lion that's been poached, be it Jericho or another male, well, the least awful thing I wish on them is to rot in a Zimbabwe prison for a long time. I hope Karma drop-kicks the culprit(s) for a field goal.
