Is Azrael a dark angel? I always thought he's WA but while searching the forum, I saw many people consider him DA like the fallen angels. He's not a fallen angel now isn't he?
For what reasons he's considered or some consider him a DA?

Perhaps he was confused with Azazael considering their names are kind of similar. Also he is one of the angels of death so many people see death as something dark which is why he might be considered a DA

Or, Azrael/Izrail is thought as DA because he handles death, and suxh death energy makes him more of a DA than a WA.

It depends what you define "DA" to be. Energetically, I would consider Azrael to be DA. However if we're talking morals, he is still WA. He wouldn't hurt people unless it was necessary (to take them to the afterlife). For me, he has a heavier energy that can be mistaken for a demon.
