I have smart-aleck Dragons.

I was watching a clip from Finding Nemo earlier this evening; the part where all the seagulls clamor "MINE! MINE! MINE!" en masse as they spot food.

Fast-forward a few hours. While surfing, I spotted a lovely bracelet made of green glass beads, etched to look just like sea glass.

The Dragon Chorus immediately commenced. "MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!" :lol: :lol: :lol:

OK, Dragons, if you want me to buy the bracelet, send me a windfall. :)

Well, that didn't take long. Today, I got approved to work overtime regularly, as there's a stupendous backlog of paperwork that needs to be caught up. An extra hour a day will add up, in a week, to be more than what I spent in that online store (as I found two other bracelets I liked as much as the sea glass one, and bought all three).

Yesterday, as I ate lunch at my desk, the boss's boss stopped by and declared, "Congratulations!" Seems they've processed the paperwork that converts the temp job to a permanent one. I haven't seen nor heard anything from HR yet, but now I know to expect it.

Good work, Prosperity Team AND Wish Team! :) I'd asked if they could expedite matters because I really need things like vacation and sick days.
