Had to do this one without the candle. I'm not the only person awake in the house, I'm not normally in the habit of lighting candles (when anyone else is at home), and I'd have some 'splaining to do if I lit a candle right now.
You know, this gives me an idea. I am going to make a spellstone with the Detect/Absort/Transmute slab. I'm going to absorb the energy from a lighted candle with it. Then I am going to transmute the energy into a spellstone that can be used as a stand-in for an actual candle, as needed.
I love that DAT Slab. One of my fave spelled items.
