I was thinking about starting a community of Dragons. At the moment, I have two. I was going to be getting more, but I thought two would be good to start out with.

What is your experience with communities of Dragons? If you don't already have one, would you start one?

I have 17 dragons who've found their way to me through various meta sellers, one I found attached to a rock at a gem shop, five who came to me as a point of contact between their species and ours, and a handful of non-bound dragons that come and go through the area. I've long worked to make wherever I am a 'safe zone' for dragons (long before I even encountered spirit keeping), just a place they can rest and interact comfortably.

Most dragons will get along alright with each other. Some do not, but is based more on their individual temperament; most of my black dragons get along fine with the rest of my keep despite what some will say. There is one dragon I've made clear is to be left alone because he's a grumpy-pants, and everyone respects that. There's enough room here that everyone is not all crammed in here at once (and there's nothing but forest across the street from where I live), and some of the dragons here also have their own home realms they can go back to.

I have thought about getting more Dragons from CH so they all are from the same Conjurer, but I just don't know when would be the right time. Talking to them and asking them I'm sure would be the best way to go, but I'll probably wait until after I meditate a few days to ask.

I thought about having a community of Dragons over the past few weeks, but wasn't really sure about it. I mean, all of my spirits will be WA, so it's not as if they will fight with each other that way.

And I know that they can go back to their realms, so if they need a break, they're welcome to and so on.

IMO if you have a nagging tiny doubt that the timing is right, then it's not. I have 9 dragons in my family (10 if you count my WereDragon) and they all get along. The were dragon is definitely different than the others so I keep him in a different vessel, he's just much more humanish than the others, he likes to be in his Human form so I get the feeling he prefers it.
I have never had any of my other dragons complain about the others, they all seem to get along.

I started spirit keeping because I already had a bunch of spirits around me, many of them dragons. My dragon communty is colourful bunch, there are entities living in their own realms and spirits that go between this and other worlds. I got chinese dragons conjured and some western hybrids too. I already had some different western types and elemental fire, wind, ice and water dragons, some stranger species too, mostly white arts but some dark magic users in there too, they sometimes banter but it is good natured.

I also got a custom of an elf that specialized in dragons when she was alive and started matchmaking immediately when she came here, so there are now hatchlings too. It actually grew quiet here because of that, he community is looking after the nest as the babies are both vulnerable and powerfull in magic they do not fully master yet.

I have 4 dragons on the way, 2 from here and 2 from other separate places. One is arriving this weekend and I'm very excited to meet him, as he has been calling me for over a week until I found the site again and adopted him!

Dragons just keep calling me and I'm trying not to overwhelm myself.
