I can remember as far back to childhood, Anubis was the first deity I found out about ever or became interested in atleast. I immediately attempted to 'pray' to a miniature statue that I got, only to have it thrown away purposely by this control freak of a parent back then and still is that way now. But that's another story/case for another time.

Anubis was also one of the three deities that showed up in resonating with me in a voluntary reading of some kind done for me by somebody I met awhile ago on another side. Alongside Nemesis(1st place or 2nd) and Hecate.

From a very young age I did not know why but I had a little bit of an 'obsession'(Still do today), may seem a bit dark you know kind of with the concept of embalming and 'tending to the dead'.

Before I decide to do any bindings or so on. Would like to get to know him more + what else he does, but might he perhaps be an "old friend" kind of immortal in connection with me?

And for a little basic info I would respect/trust immortals more than humans or mortals I think btw.

That's interesting, since with humans you can at least try to get into their heads and understand their motivations.
Immortals, their reasons, their goals, their everything is far beyond our understanding so you could trust that humans do what humans do, but immortals? Anything goes.

Good links, its time I get back onto track. Make an attempt to establish or re-establish proper contact, just have to find the spells and invocations for him to try going off first.

For protection maybe he can guard me against 'bad' human spirits but generally I'm drawn for 'some reason' and also because he seems like somebody you can learn lots of things from. Particularly for the things and mysteries I would like to find out.

P.S this was where I intended to post my reply to you before.

I know two main things about Anubis. One, that without his guidance the souls that enter the Egyptian underworld would not make it to Osiris to have their heart judged. And two his wife is the one who eats the heart if your heart is found to weigh more than a feather.
