I recently woke up with two puncture wounds in my neck... It automatically makes me think Vampire, but it really could be from anything. So I'm not going to jump to conclusions that it is. But I'm just curious, say that it was an entity... should I be concerned that it manifested in this way?

Depends entirely on the circumstances. There are people that are happy about that and where there is no real harm done.
As long as you don't suffer from weaknesses, other wounds or pain and it's more or less harmless, I wouldn't worry. But it won't harm you if you prepare for the worst, just in case.
