I was just wondering does anybody know if Lovecraftian type entities exist in the realms of spirit?
A descendant of Manannan mac Lir, through his child Cliodhna, the Queen of Banshees. Practitioner of necromancy and spirit-working. There are several schools of thought on that. One is that the collective conscious of man has created constructs based of the lovecraft mythos, these have taken on a life of their own. Another is that, yes, they exist, and yet another is that they are based off of ancient gods known to man already. THere are other beliefs but I won't get into that.

Well some of us can say they do exist while some may said other wise....it depends on you though to set out to find out if the really do exist...i for one i can say they do exist..

I was taught by a spirit friend, as a 16th birthday gift, that "fiction" is nothing more than an alternate reality, and it's just as visitable as any other dimension or realm. I have not delved into the Lovecraftian universe, but I have gone the total-immersion route with other authors' works. Even before finding CH, I would have answered that there's no reason why the Lovecraftian reality can't be explored.

Yes and no is the answer. They may often be received as 'malevolent' due to the fact a great many individuals cannot/will not withstand their influence or get how to work with it. Inherently, they fall beyond our spectrum of good and evil.
Influentially.. their presence here is obvious, consciously established in our world through the work of H.P. Lovecraft. These beings possess a hypercosmic multidimensional influence, as far as it may be extended.
