I think that the 'Kali' suggestion is a good one for you.

For the Harpy, as you can see there are many different people who have had different experiences with them. It is always good to remember that they are now 'spirits' and are no longer embodied so they cannot do certain things like they could while 'physical' on this plane. (like eat which has already been pointed out) How they behaved while alive, although echoed in their spirit form, is slightly differant NOW. It is also important to note that EACH HUMAN being is different and will attract different traits of energies from different spirits. For instance, while there may be those who have felt themselves being 'tested' by their spirit(s), in this case we're discussing Harpy, that does NOT make it a 'given' thing for ALL of that type of spirit. This goes with ANY EXPERIENCE that others have had. It is important to take note of these experiences but I'd be willing to bet that those who have similar experiences with their spirits have very similar traits amongst themselves. By this I mean that if person A has a certain experience with their spirit and person D has the same experience yet person Z does NOT have the same experience with the same type spirit than person A and D have similar traits but person Z has DIFFERENT TRAITS than these other 2 people. LIKE ATTRACTS LIKE. This is pretty much a given.

I have never had any trouble with my Harpies. At least not yet (knock on wood!) but I really don't foresee any. When I say 'negative' thoughts increase I mean thoughts like, "That person is mean and I'd like to punch them in the nose..." or thoughts of loved family and friends being hurt by someone else or etc. I have ALWAYS had these thoughts though and now with so many DA's they sometimes become 'amplified' but that's really ME reacting to THEIR (the spirits) energy. UNDERSTAND? Spirits draw their power from YOU and the surroundings. And YOU are a sum of your upbringing and beliefs. They can also cause your nervous system to react such as 'headaches' or general aches and pains. I have actually even gotten a bit of 'bowel' issues temporarily when getting new spirits but that's just 'adjustment' to energy fluctuation and is never severe. They do (all of the DA's and NOT just the Harpies) get my attention sometimes by sudden headaches or body aches.

As to your kitty cats, they MAY be able to sense the Harpy but I doubt that there would be a major problem especially if you get a CUSTOM conjure. There is one individual somewhere on the board (sorry Dear, can't remember who you were!) who wrote long ago about getting a Harpy but having concerns for their very young child being frightened by it. As it turned out the Harpy would sit at the foot of the child's bed and the child would coo, "Pretty Birdie!" (the Harpy was obviously giving a 'Glamor' appearance so as to NOT frighten the child)

In my opinion, if you keep feeling that you'd like a HARPY on your side than I'd have Ash conjure a custom one for you. As I say, I have a total of 4 and at least 2 are pretty quiet and non-disruptive.

All great points Truth! Your posts always contain wisdom . It's amazing how children and animals can sense spirits but adults have a harder time doing so. I don't know why that is. Is it because we become so involved with humanity we deny our spiritual powers? I think in essence it's a curse that we've got since we left Atlantis. Another good spirit for protection is a Paniwi. They are amazing guardians that live inside your body and are like heat patterns. When something threatens you they leap forth from your chest and scare away the evil people/spirits.

I never researched about them, guess I will need to take a look.Are they DA immortals as well?From which Pantheon?

Another good one would be a Gorgon. They're no nonsense guardians who don't let any harm come to their keeper. They're very strong and might be a bit much to handle for you. Dragons are good also.

This is what I do not understand Anti, why some spirits as an HARPY are considered hard to deal. And what harm they can bring us.I basically fear them to attract unbound demons and hurt my 3 cats. And I love dragons, I have a little family already 1 amazin red, 1 silver,1 teacher,1 guardian and I will get a blue and a black one :dragons::

I've always wanted to go to Brazil. Every year Brazil hosts the world's biggest Gay Pride Parade. A few years ago they broke a world record, having 3 million people there! That's amazing! Especially for a conservative catholic country lol. Brazilian boys are hot too .

Paniwi are not DA, they are pure white light. They come from Ancient Egypt. I don't really know how to describe them properly but essentially Paniwi are like Guardian Angels. Paniwis are very specific. Only one is destined to be with one human forever. In Ancient Egypt a ritual was performed when the person became an adult and was ready to fully embrace their spirituality. Paniwis bring you great mind control. They help with magick, they improve wisdom, they protect you and defend you like no other. They are magnificent. I don't have one but I will get one some day.

Well, basically all spirits will help us (except the evil ones). By "hard to handle" I mean they all have different levels of power and it takes time to get used to their energy. With Gorgons and Harpies they'll be good for you but you just have to let them know that you're the boss and give them rules to follow. Be kind and respectful because they are more powerful than humans will ever be but let them know you don't want bad things to happen to you and want them to protect you and help you.

As I said heheh, Azo said no for harpies, even when I was kind of draw to them.Even the gorgons, since Im so addicted with greek mythology.But he also believes Im not the type to bear them.Although and this is my stubborn side, I´d so love to have that aura of "power puff girl" an Harpy or Gorgon can grant,that who knows, when Im more skilled and with all this negative rid of my life, I shall with huge puppy dog eyes, talk again with Azo in getting an Harpy or gorgon, and he changes his mind hehe.

Exactly cause both private and public health system is so crap, the asylums here were abolished about 10 years ago, people now go there to stay just for at maximum 30 days.After that they send them home.And its the duty of the family to take care of them.It also happens with drugs addicteds,we do not have centers to treat them with dignity and kindness.Like that Im kind of trapped.

My Harpy would prefer me not to share much about her, which I will respect. But, I can say that she is an awe inspiring spirit. I love her! Harpies get straight to the point, and they are dead on accurate in whatever it is you ask them to assist you with. Don't forget to give them an offering in return for their help (bark and/or fresh foliage).
