Is it safe or good to meditate while trying to communicate with succubus using Red Candle?

As with any form of spiritual communication, best use protection in advance (prayer or otherwise), be true and confident in your ability, and if things go sour quickly have an escape plan ie. invoking a name (Jesus has been known to work or so I hear as well as Archangel Michael).

The main thing is to approach it with an honest heart and you might also be interested in pendulum communication with an alphabet board.

Yes, it is safe. Candles can be used as offerings to spirits. I lit a pink candle for my succubus and the flame was dancing like crazy even though there was no breeze or anything, all windows closed, etc. It's like they take energy from it and I definitely felt her more at that time.

Same here whenever i lit my red candle the flame will sometime flicker like crazy to the point black smoke will come out of it

I am actually interested in trying Pendulum but I don't really know how to make one
