Hello.

I bought a locket with a mirror and watch on the inside for a friend of mine because she likes things like that. I was thinking of maybe casting a spell on the locket for Good Luck, because I think everyone enjoys Good Luck & you can't have enough really.

So when the locket is closed, you can't see the mirror as it's on the backside of the opening flap on the left, the watch portion is on the right side. I know that some practitioners deflect curses by putting their picture behind a mirror with some other tools and herbs to make the curse/hex/jinx bounce back to the sender or repel it completely.

If I were to cast magic onto the locket while it's closed, would there be any problems with that? Would my magic bounce back and hit me in the face? Should I avoid casting magic onto any mirrors if possible? Or is there a general rule that you just shouldn't mess with mirrors in general as they are a way to the other side?

So with the locket closed, it should be fine?

I like the idea of spells on mirrors. Anyone had any luck with them?

I would just add, be careful with mirror Magick, I stupidly cast a spell with a mirror in view and it came back and Bit me on the bottom....lol I moved the mirror away from my alter

Yep! That's what I figured. I decided just to give the gift as was and she liked it. Thanks ; )

Well ... if a good luck spell bounced back, that would be ok, right?
