how can I determine what race a spirit is? how do I know if they are good or evil? what are the races and how can I summon certain ones? I have never looked into anything spiritual before but I have always had interest in doing so.

In my opinion, any race will have good and evil beings, or somewhat good and somewhat evil beings.

I avoid labels like good and evil out of the stigmas already associated with those who practice. There's white and there's dark and many shades in-between so I feel like because nature is both then I have my balance. Working darker isn't for everyone but I think as we grow and learn and develop our paths we all find what works for us. I'd start in slow and work on basics like grounding, cleansing, protection etc before summoning.

is there anywhere you would suggest that I go learn these things? As I have said at one point or another, I do not remember if it was this post or a different one, but I said I have always been interested in this. Unfortunately, I do not have any clue how to even start learning these things or who could help me. if you have any resources that you could share with me, that would be great. First-hand experience in the field is the best way to learn. Over time and with exposure, you learn to discern what energies are what, know their specific 'flavors', and learn to differentiate one from the other. It's like learning a new language. In the beginning the letters and sounds are so foreign you can't make heads or tails of it, but after practicing for a long time, you learn what those sounds and letters mean.
