Does anyone else dream about doing stuff they would never do awake?

Like being senselessly violent or calling on deities you've never heard of or don't associate with?

According to what Carl Kung the famous early psychologist discovered about himself, we probably all have strange dreams every night in some of which rather horrible things happen. Most of us are not awake soon enough to recall those kind of dreams. Many people believe these dreams are part of the way our mind processes events in life. They also fit in with the idea that we all have a shadow mind in which are stored all the things we have consciously repressed. These things can get worked out in dreams.

Weird that you would ask this immediately after I woke up from a dream where I threatened someone with violence while invoking Hecate...

It's not that it bothers me... I was just curious if this was common or if there was any significant meaning behind it.This morning I dreamt I was wronged by a group of people and enraged I called upon Lilith and Lucifer to avenge me.

What's weird to me is I don't work with either and what happened wasn't bad enough for me to be that enraged. lol Another thing that's weird is I have had dreams before that I've called upon names I've never heard or read before for protection when in bad situations.
