So I've just received a mystery RA and a Red Dragon came through for me! I'm very excited but also quite surprised as I told the conjurer that I was looking for a spirit to help me work with lust magics and from all I've read that's not usually their specialty?

The only description I got with him reads as follows ; K, male Red Dragon. Large, powerful and intimidating K exudes passion. His mystic force can form bonds between others with a small bit of power. He also teaches this magick.

Again, forming bonds doesn't really sound like lust magic and is not something I'm looking to do at the moment as I already have a strong bond with my partner so... I'm just confused lol.

Does anyone have or has anyone heard of a Red Dragon with such specialties? No mention of treasure seeking or wealth attraction at all, as you can see!

Hi

I suppose Reverse Adoptions stocks are limited and the Red Dragon may be the closest the seller had to what you requested. From the CH encyclopedia it looks like red dragons have the power of persuasion which is kind of linked to the power to inspire lust in others. The seller's description may just have been personal characteristics that are in addition to the spirit race's general abilities.

On the other hand the seller may have conjured something they call a red dragon whose characteristics differ from what the CH red dragons are like.

Might be best to ask the seller. ..?

"Red dragon", "black dragon", etc are largely more physical descriptors than proper dragon species in themselves, and depending on their actual species, color may or may not correlate with their abilities. That's why I find flaw with people using CH's dragon encyclopedia entries to define dragons that aren't conjured by CH, because there are so many kinds out there that don't match what CH personally works with. I've actually conjured a red dragon for a friend a while back, and the dragon's specialty was fertility of various sorts: land, creativity, physical, etc, and has some control of rain in his realm. He is also of a very different species of dragon than any other conjurers work with. So, just because CH doesn't say it's so, doesn't mean it's not out there.
