My unexpected Ap expirience

So 2 nights ago I put a charged amethyst on my forehead to help open my 3rd eye while I visualized energy going into my 3rd eye, I got a sense of vertigo and nausea and suddenly felt myself rising from my body. I didn't freak out, but i tried to visualize something to help me out of my body (rope, ladder, etc.) But i saw nothing, no color, not even black, just... nothing. My keep pulled me out as much as they could. but only a inch above my body. Does anyone have any idea on what could help me? Cause as hard as i tried, i couldn't visualize anything.
