Bonding with a Volkh

hi, just wondering how much bonding do you do with a volkh. i know they are more the silent, taking care of business type. so i just wonder how do you bond with them or if you just have to say hi, thanks for doing a great job to them? :thumbup:

deb, my personal experiences with my volkh are they are one of those matter of fact spirits who need no coddling by a keeper but given a task they keep to that with all due diligence which they can. mine are around and always doing what they are set to but they simply are doers needing less socializing than other spirits we might be called by. great protectors and they always get the job done! hope this helps. of course though, each experience is different and each volkh is different than the other. take care! arsine

thanks arsine, i just didn't want them to feel like i was ignoring them (i have OCD bad). so i just needed confirmation that they didn't need to be coddled. so thank again

yeah mines is just satisfied with sitting around doing his thing and showing him ackowledgement every now and then is more then enough

Mine also. I bought him (it?) a tiny ruby pendant for a vessel cos I prefer jewelry I can wear to spirit stones. I just say 'hello, everything ok? thanks for looking out for me' now & again...seems to be enough.
I am going to try & find some freesia scent (oil, maybe) for him tho & maybe flowers in season. Just as a more tangible 'thank you'.

I guess I am going to ask for a little more detail. I have had my Volkh mailed today from CH. I understand the day to day dealings with the Volkh as they have been outlined in this thread so far. My question is do you have to follow the 30 day bonding that we do with our other spirits?

bagent, in my opinion and from my experiences the volkh is similar to a wraith in that as soon as they arrive they are at work for you. i really wouldn't say there is a bonding with a volkh since the one coming to you knows who you are and wants to be the one coming. they just seem to be a more matter of fact type spirit who knows we care about them but doesn't require it. i still offer mine incense in their favorite scents to show my respect to them in thanks for jobs well done.

i don't think you will be disappointed at all with your volkh! great protectors! hope this helps, arsine

I have 5 of them and they are happy just being here protecting me and my family. I do talk to them from time to time and they always tell me that they don't need anything from me. They just want to do their job and they do it well. They refer themselves as my "behind the scene" team. They also perform healing and cleansing when I ask them to. Everyone should have at least one volkh
