Asuka: Love it. Love how what is tattooed is so minimal, and yet crafts an entire image where the mind fills in what is not.
Thank you Endymionfate and Emzy! That is precisely what I wanted. Something completely basic but elegant and simple. Ilove how it turned out.
Earthen: I love the Celtic feel to your dragon! I feel a beautiful preseance from the tattoo itself; it's simply stunning!
Here is mine...although not finished, obviously. Ten more hours of color work to come, post-tax refund (and hopefully post saddlebag-reduction-Li Shang-back-producing-workout-plan).
Endy

that is gorgeous, endy! I can imagine how more awesome it is gonna look once completed!
Loved this thread, absolutely love tattoos! Everyone's here are stunning, really love the fact that Kat Von D's old school history is right here on CH too!
I'm still fresh out the pot with spirits, so I'm going to wait it out for quite some time before I decide to ink any right one on my body. :]
I only have four tatts at the moment, mostly due to money constraints. =[ I love the number 9 and 19's, always been my favorite number, and spade's and cards have always been my thing, so above my right ankle is a black spade with "XIX" (roman numerals for 19) "cut out" from it so my skin forms the lettering.
My left side of my leg above my ankle to about my knee, from bottom up is: red heart, black club, red diamond, black spade. I just love and soak up cards and their symbols.
Then on my right forearm I have the roman numerals VIII.XIX (shorted from VIII XIX LXXIII) for the birthday August 19th, 1973. That's not my birthday, but, I wrote a story months back with a main character that is my muse and inspiration. ...and I owe him a rewrite of his story. (wrote it back my freshmen year of HS!) then lastly, same spot by on top my forearm is the crying minotaur from Radiohead, drawn by Stanley Donwood, originally. Loved them for years, and helped me write, draw, stay inspired, and move on with some happiness-suppressing bullcrap. ;]
I hope to get more! Hope more posts come in so I can see more beautiful artwork!

I know this thread is kind of old, but I thought I'd post
I actually started getting this kitsune tattoo BEFORE I got my kitsune...and I think my spirit found his way to me partially because of the tattoo! It isn't complete yet (still needs color).
