So some of you may remember a few months back when I wrote in about how my usually active gargoyle had gone silent. It has been distressing for me because I really loved his attention. He use to come on demand but he doesn't seem to anymore. He use to sit on the same spot on my back every time he came and my back would buzz very noticeably. It has been nearly 5 months since I felt him last.

Well, all day yesterday I started my spirit log. I have this amazing handcrafted journal that my husband picked up for me at one of the art shows we do. I have always loved the journal and I have been waiting for an idea to use it. Yesterday, I started by taking each one of my spirit vessels and drawing them one to a page. Then listed name, characteristics, treats, etc. This is something I have been planning to do in some form in case I was to pass on and someone found my spirit stones, they could refer to the journal to find out what they are. I think it turned out beautifully and I feel like my spirits were pleased as well.

So last night I am laying in bed and I am just about to drift off when I feel my gargoyle pull on my big toe. I could feel the claw on the thumb and finger he used to pull on my toe. It was really cool. The jerk on my toe was hard but not painful and the claws were sharp but he didn't really poke me with them. I felt he was trying to tell me "hey, I am still here, stop worrying."

Just thought I would share.

Your journel sounds great! I recently sat down & started typing all of my Spirit info into my computer but I love the idea of finding the perfect journel. I would love to see pictures when you have a chance & thats so sweet that he let you know not to worry & that he's still there.

I love the sound of your journal, I've started one with a leather bound journal that I've had for forever and a day, so I'm glad that it finally has a good use. I need to make sure I have everyone in there, though, I think I may have slacked off.

Wow, lovely journal, Seer! And fantastic renditions of your spirits vessels on the pages! Mine isn't half as neat and tidy, and I love all the colors you chose for the cover! I can't wait to see the back cover when you get it finished.
