When I actually remember to take time and ground, I notice that I feel less "flighty" and my thoughts tend to stay more focused.

My problem is . . . remembering to actually ground.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

I think this is a thread that needs a regular ::bump::

I believe I am going to be linking this a very good bit in chat. People are ALWAYS coming in asking to be taught how to ground and center! ::rofl::

I will tell you such foul truths and such beautiful lies, you will want to sew my lips shut.

Can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?

I liked the fire meditation. What I had been doing lately is making myself a tree (like Lemon's post) and I pull the core fire, drink water and nutrients from the earth, feel wind, sun, and cloud water in my leaves from above and gather those as well. It's very nice.

Actually, as it turns out, it is easy being green.

Hey, SIS!

You included a water grounding, a fire grounding, and an earth grounding... but you're missing two! Air and Center/Spirit!

If you feel like writing these anytime soon... remember this thread is here! :silly:

Love you...
Lemon

You know I suck butt when it comes to air work. Unless you want them taught the circle of breathless frost or smothering by consumption of oxygen I thought it best to skip my versions. ::rofl::

I skipped spirit because I felt it was too personal to try and tailor to such a wide audience. Doing a combined element meditation generally assumes you've got at least a fair mastery of 3 elements. Since this was a beginning thread I thought it might be confusing. It seems like people often want to jump ahead to the big fancy looking stuff... but without the foundational work it's worthless.

You're welcome to have at it, I know you have a folder full of this stuff. You like teaching. I just hoard basic materials so I can foist it off quick and avoid getting involved.

Rofl... true, true.

OK.... I'll put it on the list and come up with a decent grounding for air and one for center, and come back to this in a few days.

Love you...

Oooo! I found it again!

I'm saving this as a tab... and I'm going to try and write these out tomorrow. I promise. *shuffles feet*

If it helps... I just spent all day looking for this thing.

See? I can remember things, sometimes..............
