Hi everyone!
Hope you are all well, I have been unable to visit forum, had
trouble with computer, had to re-install disc. OK now, and
hotmail is OK as well. I have got a red dragon from CH and
a vampire do I need an invocation? Also the gold dragon
from the triumverate does that need an invocation, as I have
had no contact?
Thanks Rob

Your favorite spirit to work with: Vampires
If I could be anything, I would be...: a vamp!
My super power would be...: See spirits in true form
My magical/paranormal name...: Not for public consumption

For my Red Dragon, I used the invocation for dragons from the Encyclopedia. My vamp is from Real_Magick & came with his own ritual but I have not had noticeable contact yet. Thinking of trying the vamp invocation from there with him.

Glad you are ok :D - I was wondering where you'd got to!

Goldenhawk, I do not use invocations with any of my spirits. I use meditation to establish the link, inviting them in and clearing my mind. Once I have the 'feel' of their energy, I have only to pull that feeling up and they come.

I think you've probably read my silly exercises for recreating things in your minds eye and hearing the ringing of the bell after it has long since stopped ringing. These things develop those 'other' senses that will enable you to sense your spirits more easily. It's not by my design, for these are old formulas used long before I was born.

Invocation is like ritual, it sets the mind frame to accept seeing, sensing and hearing. To me, it is but another tool.

So in answer to your question: If it helps you get into contact, choose one of the general invocations from the encyclopedia, or a specific invocation from the encyclopedia to set the mindset and the mood for getting in touch with your spirits. The most important thing is to be receptive, clear the mind of the clutter (and doing an invocation helps to focus the mind so extraneous material is not in the way) relax and observe.

Blessings & Light,
Alex

Some good tips there Alex :)

Whether you have specific invocations or not, it will help if you're in the right frame of mind to accept *any* type of communication. And definitely work on other aspects like your astral hearing etc to enhance what you have already.

Good luck with your bonding and welcome back to the forum Golden!

Whitewolf,
Check out this link:

http://www.creepyhollows.com/phpBB3/vie ... riumvirate

It is a very long thread, so here is an excerpt:
creepyhollows wrote:There are two completely separate Triumvirates happening here:

1. The Triumvirate of three casters casting the spirit, spell and creating the Triumvirate channel
2. The Triumvirate channel itself.

A Triumvirate is like a triangle, three points coming together to make one effort, so to speak.

The Triumvirate channel you are left with is a pathway that from this point on allows spirits or spells to be bound to all three of your bodies at once. Having a power of 3 is significant in both casting and in the channels opened. Moving forward you can have more spirits or spells attached to your personal Triumvirate channel but it should be done in threes... such as next time you do two spirits and a spell, or three spells, and so on... always in 3s.
I do not think that the link in the first post of the topic, to the store listing, still works as the item is no longer available.

If you decide that you would like a triumvirate you should contact Magnolia as I think that she said she would continue to offer them...........

Hope this helps!
FW
