I would love a baby dragon but they are not offered often & usually far too expensive. So I wondered, how hard is it to breed dragons? I have a young female - if I got a suitable mate, might they breed? What would I have to do to encourage it? (I'm assuming both parties are willing, of course!)

This is what Magnolia said in another topic:
Spirits of baby unicorns, baby fae, baby etc all occur because they perished in infancy, not because a spirit procreated. Spirits cannot procreate. Why would they? Why would something that lived and breathed here on Earth go on to die and then experience an existence where they can procreate as spirits? And this applies to Dragons, Gargoyles, Vampires, Faeries, etc.
So that seems to say you cannot breed your dragon with another.

Dragon, you can not breed Dragons or any spirits. They are physicaly dead, thus in spirit form.
There are baby Dragons because baby Dragons died when they were alive, just like baby humans.

You see the cross breeds with Dragons, like orange or purple because they hooked up before they were killed off, and most likely ONLY got together because of the lack of sutitble mates.

But some sellers claim to get their dragons from dragon-keepers who breed dragons - are they telling porkies?
This is crossing paths with the half-whatever thread...

What would be the difference between a baby dragon and a fully grown one? A baby dragon spirit obviously won't be as powerful and intelligent, right?

Can the baby grow with the owner? How long would it take for the baby to grow into a fully grown adult?
Do you think the bonding with the spirit will be stronger when grown from a baby?
