Hi there, fellow CH community members!

I just recently got a Gargoyle, she came though in the custom binding Dark Arts profile that Ash did for me. I've thought about getting a Gargoyle a few times before, but never put in an order for one. Since both Gargoyles and I love peanut butter, I think we make a great match too. It's not too hard to talk me into getting a jar of peanut butter, even though it's been quite some time since I last had some. I bought a jar of it and I'm intending to give some peanut butter as an offering to my new companion on this Friday.

OK, so I had an experience while as I was on work today. I was working back in the storage, where we also have this big cardboard baler. The said cardboard baler was about half full, so I thought I should empty it since I had already learned how to do it, and what to do after it's been emptied. As I was working on tying the compacted cardboard boxes together, I heard someone rap on the left short side of the cardboard baler. And I immediately looked up to locate the source of the sound, but since I can't see spirits it's rather hard to do so. But as soon as I heard that sound I knew it had to be one of my family members trying to get my attention.

I wasn't even alone in the storage room when that happened. There was a man standing on the far end of the room, but with his back turned towards me while reviewing some papers. So in a joking manner I said to him, "Wow, I guess there must be a ghost in this room". Of course, he probably thought that I had accidentally bumped into cardboard baler door with my elbow or something, or he probably didn't pay that much attention to what I was saying. It turned out to be my sweet Gargoyle, "K", which wanted me to be careful. Since she was afraid that I might hurt myself, which isn't quite impossible if you don't know what you're doing. Those compacted cardboard boxes are really quite heavy, so I wouldn't want one to land on top of me, or say, my foot.

I've felt this warm aura of protection surrounding me, as well. So my dear Gargoyle or Lampades were really active at work fighting off something, whether it be negative energies (thoughts) or evil eyes. All I know is that I was feeling safe where I was.

Love it when our spirits gives us that "safe" feeling!!!!

I'm grateful for my spirits' protection. From what I hear Gargoyles are amazing protectors, too. So that makes me feel even more safe. And thank you for that, Starfire. I'm currently bonding with my two new spirits and an Immortal.

Glad to hear your gargoyle is on the job. I have 4 gargoyles (2 from CH and 2 from Von Strepples). All 4 of them are some of the quickest of all my spirits to react when danger is sensed. They are all eager to protect me, the house and anyone in it. They even shoo the squirrels away from the bird feeders to their own feeding station. And, yeah... my 3 guys and 1 lady all get offerings of peanut butter. I honestly think they like Reece's peanut butter cups even more than a big dollop of peanut butter. :lol:

All of your Gargoyles sound like very lovely companions, Aeryn. And I didn't know they chased squirrels away from bird feeders, but it's great that they care about the birdies too. Especially since it's getting colder outside nowadays, oddly enough the temperature has been very mild this month as oppossed to November last year. Though it'll probably start to snow in December, can't really say I'm looking that fowards to it, brrrr. We don't have Reese's penaut butter cups here, but I gave my Gargoyle a big chunk of organic peanut butter yesterday. She deserves it! :thumbup:
