KIDS AND DINOS....

NOT SURE IF THIS IS IN THE RIGHT SECTION..

I would like feedback from other members who have purchased a Dinosaur for their children.

A childs mind is endless and untouched, so i would also like to hear about what they have told you about their dinosaur friend.

This is an adorable idea... I can just picture a little boy's eyes growing wide with wonder at the sight of a brontosaurus spirit standing on the street corner chewing on some cud :lol:

My 5 1/2 yr old loves Dinosaurs.

He can say all their names and Im like ugh.. :think:

What level does a parent get for a child though?

even the plant eaters?

. Hi it's funny you ask this , it seems like I read it some where that they are. but I can't seem to find that now :wild: I know my son was Asking for one a while back and I said no because I read they where DA - he got a dragon instead . But I would love to know for sure as well.

Yes, all dinos are DA. All earthly beings are (humans, animals). However, some are lighter than others (more into grey) - which the listings in the CH store will indicate.

There's always getting him an herbivore. Not sure if that would make a difference, but I thought those tricerotops are just awesome. xD I remember learning how to make one in second grade out of clay.

I think this is a wonderful idea. Your kid will love one. In regards to whether their nature, the general rule of thumb is, the more aggressive they were in life, the more primal and darker their energy is. So a T-rex would probably be rather aggressive and not neccessarily the best match. Predators are generally more primal and fierce. Herbavores are usually more lax however and i would assume have a more tamer energy to them.

It's up to you and the child to decide what's best to keep.

It'll be fun to hear what you choose.

I say go for it. You should probably go for C3 because they're kids after all.

Technically they are DA. They're innocent and not going to consciously choose 'good' or 'bad' like a human can, but their moods and actions can vary like any other wild animal. (and vary with the species, of course. There's a world of difference between say... a Velociraptor and an Edmontosaurus)

You might be able to get away with a gentle giant, (or have a 'family' pet he can play with) but since he's so young, a WA dragon/creature/angel might be an alternative. 2cents
