Back on January 14, I found out a friend of mine had died. It was without a doubt the hardest, most painful week of my life. I was numb and I felt like a zombie. It was like my insides had been scooped out, leaving behind a hollow shell.

It was also very, very interesting. His favorite color was blue, and he loved the snow. The day he died, it began to snow. I didn't learn this until his father said it at the viewing four days later. When I got home from the viewing, it had stopped snowing, and it had all but melted, except for a patch of snow several feet away from the back door of my apt.

Also, the night before the viewing I was talking to a girl named A, who had dated the deceased and through whom I'd met him. A and I went way back, having met in high school. (I'm 21 and she's 20.) While on the phone with her I'd mentioned something the deceased had done that put a huge strain on his and A's relationship. (They broke up a few weeks before his death.) As soon as I mentioned it I felt the draft I normally feel when I sense a spirit. It is very cold and not like any normal draft. Usually I'll feel it on my arm or my right cheek or on my right palm. This time, it was on my back, and it came out of nowhere and vanished as suddenly as it had come. I took it as a sign that the deceased had heard what I said.
After A and I got off the phone, I went to sleep, and I think the deceased showed up in my dream. In the dream I lay on my back in my bed, staring up at him. I said his name, and I heard laughter and he jumped into the air, flying up toward my ceiling and vanishing. I was screaming in my dream and trying to wake up my bf, who also knew the deceased and was staying the night so he could go with mom and I to the viewing. (Mom also knew my friend; she'd met him once when he came over to help me move some furniture out of my room.)

The day after the viewing, I had a temp shift at a store, just doing inventory. While I was doing inventory I suddenly came across a stack of blue photo albums. On the cover of them were the words "No Regrets". I took this as a sign from my friend telling me that wherever he is, he is doing okay.

Sorry to hear of your loss - stay strong - seems like your friend is still around which is quite comforting I suppose. Thanks for sharing, I loved reading it. Hope you continue to receive messages from him.

Sorry for your loss, however noone is really gone just shifted from one form to another so never fear he is still here ^_^ and its awesome he still makes contact it just goes to shows friends will stay friends forever.
