Right at the get-go, "demon" is a worthless word, as everyone seems to have their own definition. The actual word demon: from Oxford Dictionary:

Origin

Middle English: from medieval Latin, from Latin daemon, from Greek daimōn 'deity, genius'; sense 1 also from Latin daemonium 'lesser or evil spirit', from Greek daemonion, diminutive of daimōn.

The Greek word daimōn is the root of demon. In ancient Greece a demon or daemon was a divine or supernatural being somewhere between gods and humans, or an attendant spirit or inspiring force, a sense picked up by Philip Pullman in his His Dark Materials books. These demons were not evil; these did not appear until the writing of the Septuagint, a Greek version of the Hebrew Bible, in the 3rd and 2nd centuries bc. In Australia and New Zealand demon is a word for a police officer. This could be from Van Dieman's Land, an early name for Tasmania, or from dee, an old slang term for a detective, and man. Either way, the criminals who first used it probably considered the usual sense of demon to be appropriate. See also devil

***************************************************************************************************************

Like individuals, demons should be defined (if at all) by their name and the word spirit, and finally, if one is going to seek knowledge of Holy Guardian Angels, and Goetic, Solominic, and other Spirit Enitities, one should study the huge number of books out their, including, MacGregor-Mathers, Crowley, Spare, Fortune, Regardie,Starhawk, Bell's Pantheon, Crowley's 777, and so on.........

Basically, anyone, who begins to study this sort of thing, should remember 3 phrases:

TERRA INCOGNITA EST.

AND WON'T BE ALLOWED BACK IN.

I can honestly say throughout the 4 years theres been blood sweat and tears and most importantly fear. Im not afraid anymore. What happeneds is ppl and religions try and force there views but I will not say to much on that. And yea definitely I took a big chance and failed big time but this time itll b a winner. Haha cheers

Spend all your money on non essentials and starve yourself into a new, thinner, more then likely anemic, you! But don't take my word for it, just listen to our reviews:

Waitress, 23.
I spent 10k on a Spirit for weight loss, and now, barely a month later, I'm so thin people don't even recognize me anymore!
I do have the occasional fainting spell, but I figure that's just my Spirit trying to communicate. She's the best thing that's ever happened to me!

Businessman, 35.
Just 3 short months ago I was so fat and bloated, when I walked down the street people would turn and stare. But then I got a spell for weight loss for 40k, and all my weight troubles literally melted away!
People still stare, but now they say it's because of how thin and different I look, like nothing they've ever seen before, and I believe them! I can see the awe and envy in their eyes.
The doctors have said that if this goes on there is a good chance I may die from malnutrition, but they're wrong, I've never felt better! It's true that doing things is much more difficult now, but that's just the spell working and making me put more effort into everything I do so I loose weight!
;p :D \D :lol: :crazy: ::rofl::

I definitely want to get more fit, but I think I'll give the "I'm too broke to buy food, 'cause I spent it all on meta things" diet a miss. Bahahaha!

Male/Female: It's a Secret

It's been a while since there was the last post on here, so I'm just gonna silently chime in for future discussions - maybe^^

I have demons in my family, as well as certain BA's and they are just as prone to chaos and destruction as very dark DA's. I haven't had any problems with them, but I know what they are capable of and that they could turn my life upside down in a matter of seconds. They DO turn lives upside down when they're p***ed or when someone p***es me off. Yet they can be incredible helpers in terms of magic, protection and growth. And while it's important to be respectful, it's not always coming back to you. Some want you to prove yourself worthy first and test you in various ways. They highly dislike people bragging about them, whilst in truth these people always hide behind the back of others and only call out to them in a secure place or circle. It has nothing to do with power, it's cowardice. And they expect one to always be sincere, these are basically the main things I learned during my journey.

Reading the previous posts I had to laugh cause I was just the naive girl jumping right in, as one of my first companions was a demon and back then I was a teenager barely aged 16. And I would've been scared reading the posts of Zarathustra before and not deemed myself ready so quickly. By now I know I was very lucky I didn't get burned... MUCH. I got tested and I failed and failed until I finally understood that I was being tested xD to me it's actually surprising that I still got the chances. 8 years have passed since.

The first demon had a lot of patience with me and while I would dive further into the "darker regions", he guided me among a few others. It's different now, while I'm not doing many rituals and rarely use spells, I seek the communication with such beings to gain more knowledge. I have had my encounters with the dark Lords, beings from hell and the abyss, other dimensions, sometimes initiated by me and other times they made contact. It's a pleasure to have them around, honestly, it does not always have to be about business - sometimes it's just chit-chat. To me, they are friends with a warning sign on them - reminding myself to never get too comfortable. Nevertheless, I always felt like this is my way and I accepted the risks coming with it. If I ever get into a sh*tstorm with any of them, then I won't complain.

But to resume it, in all this time I've never had serious issues with demons or any the like.
I do all to keep it this way 2cl
