Its a simple fact...that in terms of delivery - if delays are not immediately answered then the business goes down the tubes....Its the way of things today...People can changes dates for: Product Announcement, Return Messages, Deliveries, & Exchanges......BUT when not announced early, or at all, and so on...if the business is small, it is extremely serious...because a small market means just a few customers as opposed to lets say Microsoft, so basically if there is next to no communications, and delays go into mon ths, and there are only a handfull of cleints...the business has sunk at the dock. Also, it shows that the person's organizational skills are very low....If he still has clients, it will be definitely be no more that 30 and probably a lot less - not being nasty - but this is how buisiness works - and a lot of people get into the "well this is a different kind of business, it is unique in some way - and while that's probably true, it simply doesn't work. He should be asked - what are his cost projections? WHat is his fullfilment plan? What are his sales expectations? And if thiese absolutely necessary concepts have not been solidified, then basically, he's done. I have seen more people mwith a Special IDea(a real one) just not make it successful because of what I just mentioned. I am not being hateful or snotty...been in business for 25 years - I know how it works...
