Hehehe, I wrote it while I was tutoring 6th grade math. Oddly enough, the same student who just randomly told me out of the blue that he can see spirits. (A topic I will be writing a forum thread on soon, so more later.)
And of course I meant your costume as well! Seriously cool, atmospheric entry overall.
The fae are a lot more wicked than some give them credit for

Hehehe, and again, you are too kind. ;)

We're not all bad... I don't understand where people get the idea that we are dangerous. We LOVE children, really.... we love stealing them, but still.... we'll take good care of them.... scouts honor. :}

Hehehe, thanks! loved you too, btw! Very neat. ;)

I don't advise this, but I actually used my acrylic paints. Not my good ones (because... well... those are actually kinda toxic, lol), but I used gesso for the white and some craft paint for the mottled purpley/grey/brown to match the lacy undershirt I used. I pretty much just painted myself like I would a canvas, leaving bare skin around my eyes so I could use my regular makeup. I was kind of rushing with the black details, I couldn't find my nice fine liner brush, so the black acrylic turned out a little thick. So, would have liked to do finer details, but what the hey, now I have something I can improve on next year, right? :lol:

I would not, I repeat, WOULD NOT use this kind of paint to cover more than a small area for a short amount of time, even if it says nontoxic; nor should you ever use it on sensitive skin or anywhere near your eyes. Skin needs to breathe, and I ONLY used it because it was just a small part of one hand (since the other would be holding the camera), my upper chest, neck, and some of my face. AND, I dry brushed a lot of areas in my neck/face so the skin underneath wasn't completely covered. AND I only had it on for about 2 hours, maybe 3 max, from start to finish. I had to scrub pretty good, but not too rough, and always make sure you cleanse/moisturize/take care of your skin properly afterwards.

Thanks!! I will jot that down to try out next year!! Yeah, I made sure the ears and makeup came off right when I got home!! Then I jumped in the shower (the glue still took a day or two later to fully come off)...I think I will start my makeup waaaaaaay before party time next year!!

So many people did such an amazing job on their makeup!! I truly loved it!!

Blessings,
Scordra
