SO, IF YOU WANT A BASIC METAPHOR OF WHY YOU MAY NOT FEEL LIKE THE GOD/CREATOR OTHERS TALK ABOUT DOESN'T COME COMMUNICATE WITH YOU THE SECRETS & MYSTERIES OF THE WORLD, THINK OF IT THIS WAY, THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION MAY BE THAT GOD COMMUNICATING THE EXPLANATIONS OF THINGS TO YOU, MAY BE LIKE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO YOUR CAT HOW TO USE THE REMOTE CONTROL.

My cat does a great job of turning off the TV for me...

However, it's not always on command and rather incovenient at times...

Now, if only she could get the numbers to my favorite channels down...

:lol: I know, Im one of the cats youre referring to....cute metaphor :lol:

I guess i have been more vocal lately , with regards to a creator. reading others' experiences *has* kind of left me feeling like im onthe outside looking in. BUT... when you are born being taught that there is ONLY one way,and you follow that way for 30+ years not ever being allowed toquestion it without fear of reprisal, it does kind of turn you upside down when you discover many many untruths which you've based your entire existence on.
For me, it was akin to total devestation. Complete, utter devestation. I chose for a period to believe in nothing. butthat mademe feel even worse. I LIKED having a God to tell my problems to, or to pray for someone sick... but knowing what i did, i couldnt really go back. I'd felt like id beenbullied my whole life to behavea certain way, believe and never question, if something bad happened to me, it was "divine discipline" and i deserved it.
I never heard from that one either. except maybe when I was "bad" and "needed to be taught a lesson."

I dont care about "mysteries of the universe" being revealed to me. I like surprises. I want to save some good stuffs for when i die. In this life i just want to bethe best me i am, and right now, Im not. something is missing. that piece of the puzzle. I want to be able to pass more on to my kids than "duuuur i really dont know". with regards to being approached, all i really want is that one amazing experience that lets me know, beyond a doubt, he/she/it/they are real. thats it. just one little "hey kid, youre on the right track, cant talk now im busy but hang in there". Im easily pleased, THAT would be enough for me. Hell i dedicated 30+years on less than that! :lol:

So yeah... this cat is working like a dog on getting her opposable thumbs to grow :thumbup:

You should know...this metaphor genuinely freaked me out!
