Very enlightened post Matt. I think this young man would benefit greatly from a mutual learning experience with someone, no matter how strange his claims may seem. That is the main point. Since I don't feel particularly put off by it, I would be willing to explore further in an open forum with him, but due to the nature of the world, private conversation would be off the table. I suggest a thread dedicated to the research and exploration of your particular situation. I would be glad to participate, as I am very fond of angels. Please consider posting a thread topic with your assessments of your situation, your questions and be open to possible resistance. Resistance is a wonderful learning tool.

This thread has certainly garnered quite a bit of interest! Trio, you should disclose more information if you really want to find a student, and if your Earthly body hasn't come to terms with its Ethereal occupation then you have more work ahead of yourself before you can take anyone on as an apprentice.

Being a teacher or mentor doesn't mean you know everything, but it means you know & have personally experienced multiple scenarios so you won't be surprised in your actions & results, and you are capable of being responsible for the safety for yourself and your apprentice.

I agree, it's difficult, to find a good student. A good apprentice has to be a self-motivated student. Someone who will do the work without you having to babysit them and make sure they are doing it, and at the same time doesn't become so full of themselves that they try to go it alone and get themselves into trouble. So, you have to be a patient person, someone who can handle a lot of stress in trying to find a good student.
