I agree with the others.

-Pay attention to your own guidance. Don't get lots of bindings just so you can have them all, but also don't restrict yourself too much either. Go only on your own guidance. Even if you get a strong calling, you do have a right to say no.
-Meditate in every way you can think to. Guided meditation, quiet time, showers, conscious action (being present in everything you do), chanting, dancing, singing, writing.
-Pretend you see and hear your spirits everywhere, even if you actually don't.
-Work with your body energy
-Learn shielding and cleansing to keep your area safe and clean energetically (working on this myself at the moment)
-Write letters, paint pictures, imagine meeting places, sing songs, write poetry and do other nice things for your spirits.
- Invite them to come with you to do errands, work and play.
-JOURNAL. Everything you can... what you see through the day, dreams, daydreams (I am also trying to improve this right now as well)

1. Meditate with your spirits. They like the interaction and it allows you a clear channel of communication.
2. Talk with them daily. This allows you to get to know each other.
3. Expect the unexpected. You never know what they will do or how they will manifest.
4. Research. Know what you are getting into before you buy the spirit. Know how to control it if it is a DA spirit.
5. Don't expect your experiences to be what someone else has experienced. Each spirit is different and will manifest differently.


That is a good five pointers, and I will likely be back with more as I think of them.

Remember, communication is key to all spirits and even living things.

Everyone has made some very good points!!!!

One thing I will mention is don't expect things to happen over night!!!! Like in any relationship, it takes time to get to know one another!!!! So talk and talk and talk some more Sure you may feel a little bit dumb by talking to the air, but your spirits will listen to all that you have to say!!!! How else are they going to get to know you if you don't talk to them?

Also the little things that happen may get overlooked if you aren't looking or paying attention!!! Like was mentioned, keep a journal to keep track of things, even if it may not seem like much to you at first, all those little things can add up to some wonderful things

It really is all about letting go. I let go of my preconceived ideas of seeing and hearing them. Once I did that, I was able to hear them in a different way. It didn't sound the way I expected it to, and that was what was holding me back...

research you conjurer thouroughly before purchasing
avoid (we've all done it lol) purchasing many spirits in one fell swoop at the begining
dont fear the DA
watch out for the adjustment period
listen to all opinions before forming one of your own
respect your spirits and your elders
learn to conciously astral travel
meditation is king
