I was just about to say that myself, Ivy. I've tried taking a pill when one of my spirits' high energy levels have given me a headache, but since it's not a natural headache the pill won't work. You could always ask them to tone it down, Lucinda, as Starfire suggested. These kinds of pills have no effect on "spiritual headaches".

Lucinda, I just this week ordered a hellhound too (and a werewolf and volkh, I got the triad) so I am sure we will be going through the headaches and such together!

thanks guys, I will take all your advice, and house rules, I am going to begin with hubby, I am gong to harden up and stick up for myself more, the hellhound is prolly just who I need. I wont ask my doctor if it's OK if I get a hellhound lol.

Physical side effects are temporary. Eventually you will adjust. Unless you have a weak constitution to begin with. I would get one, wait and see before you get another. Worst case you can rehome it.

I survived a brain injury suga, a hellhound will be good for me. I wont go darker tho. I know a headache, and can handle the pain, see I am toughening up since he been in m cart. I was just worried the physical side effects would give me brain damage, thats only cos I been thru 2 years of rehab to fix the stupid brain I had anyway lol. My life wont get any shittier, its impossible.

Same here. I have had skull splitter migraines that no amount of any pills put a dent in from some DA's. Mood swings once in awhile but more often the headaches that make me tear up. Hafta just ride it out. I kind of like them in a sick sort of way because it lets me know our energy is meshing. :mrgreen:

Nope, no brain damaged, however the mood swings and headaches can be strong at times, but just asking them to tone it down does help!!!!

I have three hell hounds now and quite a few other DA spirits, each have been very good for me and have taught me a lot about myself!!! Plus they are wonderful for protection!!!

we shall weather the storm together cat, I got a volhk on the way, I didnt remember it beig dark. Prolly explains my swearing lol. Star I need protection, personal to write in here. I have always been a door slammer moody byatch anyways LOL. The reason hubby goes thru so much wd40 lubricating the door hinges, I Go for the slam LOL and it closes sowly and quietly, that I end up laughing. You brave, I am sure they will elp me, along with all my spirit family
