I have always been drawn to nature. When I was a small boy, I would regularly walk up the mountain to where a huge old willow tree stood, and sit under it, hugging it and would feel the most amazing energy engulfing me. As I grew older, and moved, I would always find a "special" tree to sit under and hug.

I totally agree Aeryn!!!! I have a huge cottonwood tree here that you can't even get your arms around it, but it is an amazing tree with some very old energy and yet wonderful energy coming from it!!! That tree is my friend and when we first moved to here, Green Man appeared in that tree!!! since then so have a few dragons!!!

I also use that tree to do some traveling to different realms, it was the most natural thing to do!!!

We also have a huge willow across the road that gave me a limb to make a wand out of!!!!

So yes trees have always and will always be my friends!!!! :thumbup:

Trees are amazing,they give us life[air] and yet even sadly in there distruction they provide us,money,toillette paper,much needed,shelter,shade,and like you said a perfect place,to sit under,read take a nap or a picnic under. Tree's are giver's not takers,they give us fruit,seeds nuts.Homopathic remedies can be made by them,they give protection to birds,squrriels and insects. The list could go on and on.
There's something truely magical sitting under an old tree,a mature tree full of wisdom and age. Look at all the many species of tree's world wide,some being huge like the red woods,i think in california. And beautiful trees that twist ,making it look mysterious and unique.

and look tree's are everywhere - see,see i found one!!!!!!.
