I was recently told that offering a glass of wine to my djinn would be beneficial and he would appreciate it.
I do offer certain herbs and scents, but I have never heard of offering wine?
Furthermore, what wine would be liked by a djinn?
The other night however, one of my spirits, I do not know who, gave me the urge to leave a cup of black coffee out.
Any thoughts on this?
Wine for Djnn?

Caiyros that was awful!
As far as giving the djinn wine, I guess it would depend...an Islamic djinn would not thank you. A Norse or pre-Islamic might well appreciate the occasional glass. Tho the Norse might prefer lager! When I was looking into Vodun, I learned that Papa Legba likes black coffee - if rum is not available. Try asking who wants what & see what answers you get.
(I just had a lovely image of a Keeper in a bar with assorted spirits: "Ok, that's 6 pints of Carlsberg, 2 white wines, one orange juice, a bowl of water for the werewolves, some milk for the masheba...")

Cairyos - You're too funny! LOL!
I'm not sure about wine, but I have one Djinn that LOVES Rum and cinnamon sticks, I put a small shot glass and the cinnamon stick in his glass recharging box with him, his vessel smells amazing! Yummy yummy! In Light, starlighter

Oh, what a novel idea Starlighter! I hypothesize that a littel experimentation lead to this discovery.
So folks, try different wines, liquor, etc and see what kind of reactions you get!

Mongrella's right about the alcohol. I considered giving my djinn wine one time, and I could hear them all remind me that it is against the Islamic law (I've all believer djinn), so it depends on the type.
What are these principles? Those of good & evil - the belief that nothing is good for a human being which does not make him just, self-controlled, brave, & free: & nothing evil which does not make him the opposite of these.

The suggestion of Rum and Cinnamon sticks was given to me from the seller, I thought it was unusual, but I've had no complaints! I'm not sure what type or class this Genie/Djinn is, it was an overseas transaction, and I communicated the best I could with the Seller who didn't know english very well, overall, it'a a very positive (maybe slightly tipsey at times) entity.
