I'm skeptical. I need scientific proof that people aren't making the case vibrate causing it to move...Call the Ghosthunters people they like to debunk stuff.
When they say,"We have no explanation for this occurrence" I will then believe it is paranormal.

Good points, there are some very simple things they can do to clear this up. The Museum is milking this as they should and some people feel this is a marketing stunt. While the argument is made is it turning at exactly 180 degrees is good support that this is a paranormal phenomenon, its actually a much stronger scientific argument as consistent vibrations from sources like machinery, cooling and heating system and other things work on a pretty consistent level and maintain a specific schedule. A simple rubber cover on the bottom of the statue could go along way to prove or disprove this mystery. However there is something to be said for enjoying a mystery.

Personally, I believe it is real... never underestimate the power of the Egyptian pantheon....
It could be the simple fact that after standing in that case all these years... he really needs to empty his bladder... perhaps the restroom is in the direction he turns to face.

You know the Egyptian pantheon is one of the oldest and very powerful pantheons around, so I am not going to doubt it at all, I have seen too many things that defy explanation and then people just shrug it off as not being real anyway!!!! You all know full well that there are some things that just can't not be explained properly, like we would like to see them explained, that is why it is the paranormal in the first place!!!!

Really interesting! Yeah the rotation doesn't seem like it was from footsteps or anything like that or it would just be flying everywhere.. so interesting that on the back it has the sacrificial engravings like it suggests might be the reason.. would be interesting for someone to carry that out and see what happens Lol. Its only a few hours away from me but don't know if ill be headed that way anytime soon so will certainly go check it out if I can.

Did anyone else 'feel' something from the picture of the the statues face?
I felt big black dog. Which I guess means Anubis(?) o.o I don't know if the movement is caused by something metaphysical or not but something about the statues definitely is O.o
