My medicine gives me terrible nightmares, and I had complained to my husband my dreamcatcher had stopped working- he has some native american in his blood and suggested I "blow out" all the cluttered nightmares it had caught. So two nights ago I did what he told me, blew it out and moved it closer to my bed and noticed while I sleep under the dreamcatcher I sleep peacefully, but if I sleep in a different area of the house I have nightmares. I love knowing that it's working, and will have to get/make another one for my daughters room.

Nice suggestion about clearing them out every once in a while hopefully others might start doing this to, made me think of a witch ball I got from salem for similar purposes going to try and clear that out and see if I notice an improvement!

If it's designed anything like a dragon capture ball you will want to take and align the holes in the various levels if it's not then I'm way to tired for this level of thought at this time of day.

Wild Dove- did your husband make the Dreamcatcher, or did you buy one? Is it just a Dreamcatcher, or did you have it enchanted?

Fang.. you can smudge it with sage, or you can just, literally, blow on it. Take it outside your home's foundations first, though.

I have a dream catcher near my bed as well and have always blew out not only the energy but also the dust as well, outside as Nytco had mentioned!!!

There is also something else I like to mention that can help and I have used it for years and even gave some to my children and grandchildren, when they had nightmares and night terrors, and that is snowflake obsidian!!!! A very dear and old friend of mine, who knows about the many different stones and all their uses, said that not many know that snowflake obsidian will help with nightmares and night terrors!!!! It does work, very well, and after a couple of weeks, just rinse it off every couple of weeks with water that does not have chlorine in it!!!!

I have mine in my headboard of my bed!!!!!

It is a black stone with white spots that look like snowflakes!!!!
