When I was looking for the paranormal investigations on the board, I came across a post from 2008 when the Forum, by itself had reached 1.5 million. I realized I hadn't looked up the same stat for the Forum in, literally, years, but I had never looked it up for the whole site (which includes the old sections of the site, like the old Encyclopedia). I looked up the stats for everything under the http://www.creepyhollows.com umbrella (which included sub-domains), and with all aspects of the CH site, we've been viewed 78 million times.

For us, that just means we need to get even more information on here, and out to the public! Even now, there are still people in the paranormal community who've never even heard of Spirit Keeping. They have no idea what it is, and when we started this site 12 years ago, we wanted to see if there was even anyone out there interested in it. Now that we know there are, it's our mission to make sure everyone is properly educated on what Spirit Keeping is!

We are taking those 78 million visits as a banner to forge ahead in education, and support of Keeper, and solidifying the paranormal community as friends with a common love.

When the board reaches 500,000 posts we're going to do something special too.

Because, this Forum, alone, is very special. This board started as a free board, then we moved to Invision, then we moved here, but in all instances, the members who came here, found us. We didn't have a Ning board, or someplace where members were siphoned off a larger group, and so the members here came here by destiny. And, every post made here has been earned by the community. There's not a lot of fluff posts here, it's a lot of valuable, educational material. For that, everyone here should be extremely proud of themselves, because this Forum is historic, and has been a foundation for the Spirit Keeping community since the beginning.

Sometimes I go back, and read threads from 2008 that were moved over from the board that was open from 2005-2008, and it's just amazing the volume of material that has been gathered here over nearly 8 years. Absolutely amazing.

Congrats! And it's so true - I went to a pagan/wiccan shop here in Utah, and they had NO idea what spirit keeping was.... So I pointed them your way. I have a friend who does demon banishment, and it blew her mind! She didn't even think that those same vessels who contained BA could potentially hold a WA or DA spirit. She's pretty excited too. And looking to get a spirit of her own when she is working with banishments. It's such a fantastic site, and so happy I found you all!
