Okay, I was until recently unaware that in Kenya they are burning elderly as witches. This sort of thing can not be allowed to continue. While I know we are in other countries and our powers are limited, I thought it might be a nice idea to do something unusual.

Those who are burning the witches are misdirecting anger and holes in themselves through their monstrous actions. I feel that if we bless/pray for their wholeness and return to understanding, it may help them to recover from their illness. If this is comfortable for others and this has interest, I'd like to do such a thing often for those that hurt others. If at least 3 people reply, we can coordinate a time and words to say to focus our combined intent.

Thank you both for joining in! I was thinking I will post a simple (not religion specific) prayer/blessing and we can all light a candle. I will do more on my side and I plan to ask for assistance from the spirits in my keep, but not the entities. Who knows what forces are out there causing people to hurt each other It is speculated that lack of resources caused this, but it's still pretty ghastly whether there is a reason or not.

Thank you all. I was thinking we don't necessarily need to do it at the same time if you can't. I will be doing it Friday night at 9pm CST (CST is -6 GMT) so if you can't do it then, just write down that time and pretend that is the time you are doing it.
